Established in 2005 by a former Commissioner of Education, Avant-Garde has grown significantly and now serves over 100 schools through its Skills Alaska program, bringing technology resources, professional development and community outreach to struggling schools. Through its Alaska Native Teacher Initiative, AGLF is working to increase the number of Alaska Native teachers. Position Definition
The Program Development Coordinator will assist in the implementation and coordination of Avant-Garde Learning Foundation�s education programs and lead the development of fundraising efforts. First and foremost we want someone experienced in childcare and loves working with children.

We need some help with our schedule and 13 year old son. Duties: Pick up from school M-F @ 3:15-3:30, bring him home, prepare snack and or dinner for him. You will perform general cleaning at the house such as vacuuming, dusting, picking up and general organization. You must like dogs and cats. Must have AWD or 4 wheel drive with insurance and a good (verifiable) driving record. Expect 2 days per week to drive our son to an early evening karate class. I would anticipate this would be a position requiring 20 hours per week/ 4 hrs per day. You must be a non smoker.
