SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Health Information Management (HIM) Tech will provide complete medical charts to all requesting staff. Will ensure that accurate, timely, and complete medical information is available. Will file incoming paperwork, purge medical records, and process and verify ROI requests.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent. Two years clerical experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology and Release of Information desirable. Must have the ability to organize workload, work independently, and adapt to changing work environment and responsibilities. Must be accurate, versatile, and dependable. Computer skills for data entry required. Billingual preferred.
