You just don't find this in Alaska - I purchased this lot of old southern yellow pine from an old warehouse in Ohio. These were the orignal floor joists from a very old building. I have milled this wood into various widths and thicknesses as a trim package for a remodel.
It started at approximately 5000 board feet, but what is left is the most beautiful, hard yellow pine, almost all clear vertical grain, but with some interesting holes and features here and there.
7) ½ x 8 ½ x 7’
7) 3/8 x 8 ½ x 4’
3) ¾ x 8 ½ x 4’
4) 7/8 x 4/12 x 7’ (milled relief in back for door jamb)
2) 1 1/2 x 11 x 9’ (nice slabs)

13) 3/8 x 8 ½ x 14’
3) 5/8 x 8 ½ x 14’
3) 5/8 x 8 ½ x 9’
26) ½ x 2 7/8 x 10’
9) ½ x 4 5/8 x (8’ and 10’)
3) ¾ x 4 ¾ x 12’
20) 3/16 x 1 x 10’
10 ½ x 2 1/8 x 10’
5) 5/8 x 4 ½ x 6’
5) ¾ x 10 x 12’
32) ¾ x 3 ¼ x 6” (plinth block)
Also included with this lot of wood is 300 lineal feet of clear 1/2 x 5 1/2 clear hem/fir trim (was going to use it for baseboard).
This wood is very rare for Alaska, and just fabulous. You could use this for trim, furniture building or many other uses. Once you see it, you will want it!
Reduced price, now $2,000 for the lot. Call 250-2600 for directions to come see it. You can also view samples at Hardware Specialities. Ask at the counter for the samples.
