<description><![CDATA[Envision Product Design has an option position for immediate hire located in Anchorage.  Up to 4 weeks per year of travel may be required.<br>
<br>
Purpose:  Position is responsible for working independently to complete electronic equipment manufacturing tasks accurately and quickly.<br>
	<br>
Responsibilities:<br>
•	Accurately assemble and test electronic components and systems including cables, circuit boards, control systems, and computers meeting quality control standards.<br>
•	Accurately follow work procedures for preparing detailed product documentation including as built equipment lists, product labels, and operator and maintenance documentation.<br>
•	Trouble shoot production and customer returned systems.<br>
•	Design and implement improvements to production electronic systems including updating schematics, selecting components, evaluating component substitutions, and supporting product development projects. <br>
•	Travel to customer sites and complete installation and training.<br>
•	Participate in quality improvement activities and product development projects.<br>
•	Assist in other shop activities as directed<br>
<br>
Required Skills and Training:<br>
•	Electronics Technology AAS or Electrical Engineering education<br>
•	Electronic schematic reading and ability to construct and test cables, circuit boards and assembles based on schematics. <br>
•	Electronic system trouble shooting including use of DVM and oscilloscope and manufacturers manuals and web based trouble shooting resources.<br>
•	Computer assembly and configuration<br>
•	Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel and Word <br>
<br>
Preferred Skills:<br>
•	Electronic system design - power supplies, 485 communication, cabling<br>
•	Computer programming and motion control system design and debugging.<br>
•	Computer network design and administration<br>
•	Mechanical shop skills – turning,  milling, drilling, light assembly and packaging.<br>
<br>
Pay Range, Hours & Application:<br>
•	Starting pay for qualified applicant is DOE <br>
•	Full time desired, willing to offer flexible schedule for completion of school.<br>
