To the person that thinks that, that rescue gets their dogs for free is wrongly mistaken. Why do you think that there is an adoption fee attached to each dog, so that they can try and break even. From the rescue fee that they pay the wasilla shelter when they get a dog from them, the anchorage shelter when someone brings one of the adpr dogs there, microchipping not only for the chip itself they also pay the activation fee, they spay and neuter each and every dog that comes through their rescue, and they pay to get shots and any medicines or take care of any injuries that they dog may have coming into or during their stay in rescue. I adopted a dog from ADPR a few months ago and I had no problem paying $160 for a puppy.
