Old Computer Parts plus Case (Muldoon) $20

I have an old partially-complete desktop computer that I'd like to unload. There is no hard drive or CD Drive. In other words, this computer DOES NOT RUN. What I have is just the case (full size, will hold any ATX motherboard, 4 CD drives and 2 floppy drives), power supply, 2 slow 256MB RAM sticks, a micro ATX mobo and a CPU of some sort. I don't really know what any of these parts are, except that they are old and useless to me. I've harvested a few things out of this computer over the years. There is an XP Home Serial Key stuck to the case, so perhaps you can use it to acquire a copy of this OS from a computer store.

If anybody wants to try to get this working again for use as a very basic computer, $20 will make it yours. Again, please understand that this is NOT a complete, working computer. This should only be a consideration if you like projects.

A great little server for home web hosting, email server, ftp server, UNIX development, file sharing, etc. I have used it for the past couple of years with various UNIX/Linux server and workstation operating systems. It ran 24x7 for over 14 months flawlessly, without error or downtime. Currently, this server is set up with Debian 4.0 linux and is configured as a web server running Apache 2.2.3 with PHP 4.4.4-8. Since there is a lot of personal information on it, I will have to wipe the hard drive before sale. However, I will be willing to pre-load this server with an operating system if you like. I currently have several to chose from: Debian 4.0, Slackware Linux 10.0, OpenBSD 4.2, FreeBSD 7.0, RedHat 8, Fedora Linux, Microsoft Windows 2000, even Microsoft Windows 95 (if you dare)...or any operating system that you provide. I have to say that I think this particular server runs the fastest with Slackware Linux if you intend to use a GUI. If not, OpenBSD is the most secure while Debian 4.0 is the easiest to maintain.

I will not be providing technical support for this server once it is sold.

Hi everyone,

I have a desktop computer for sale. The computer is a Custom Built machine that I have built myself and am selling as a Base-Line model on my website www.bnztec.com.

These computer are brand new. The only time they will have been used is when I Installed the Operating System and made sure everything worked correctly.

These computers are very small as far as desktops go. They have a lot of power for their size and they make excellent home theater PC's. The base-line models are highly customizable, but the computers are very solid just with the basic hardware. I am using a base-line personally and I use it as my main desktop at home. The computer is running two monitors, and is the main machine on my home network.

Here are the specifications for the Base-Line model:

The computer has a GIGABYTE motherboard that packs a lot of power for such small form. The motherboard features very high quality onboards video with HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports. The board is highly qualified for DirectX 10 Gaming.

On the motherboard, the processor is a Dual-Core AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane. It is clocked at 2.6GHz, however I have my home model overclocked stable at 2.8GHZ and it could probably be run at 3.0GHZ just fine. The motherboard's BIOS is ideal for overclocking purposes. This processor runs quickly and smoothly through all standard applications.

The base-line model comes standard with a 500GB Western Digital Hard Drive. This should be more than enough space to store an abundance of Movies, Music, Pictures, and all other files that a Home Computer should have.

The machine has 4GB of Dual Channel Memory. This amount of RAM will surely be enough for any standard program that will be run on home desktops for years to come. If the need for more memory arises, though, The motherboard on this computer will support up to 16GB of memory.

Lastly, the computer's optical drive is a Samsung 22X DVD Burner. This drive is fast and reliable.

These are the specifications of the Base-Line model. Customization options will include hardware such as a Quad Core Processor, 8GB or 16GB of Memory, PCI-e Graphics Cards, and Wireless LAN Cards.

HP Computer w/Moniter, Mouse, Keyboard - $485 obo

This HP is about 2 and a half years old and I have never had a problem with it except that I can't get the DVD burner to burn DVDs. It will copy data and files just fine but not DVDs. I never messed with it to much but you might be able to just reinstall the drivers for the DVD burner to get it to work. The Samsung moniter is also in great shape and has a crystal clear picture. I just upgraded and do not need 2 computers. The mouse and keyboard are brand new and came with my new HP I just bought and I all ready had wireless so I don't need them.
