Kalapaki Beach is uniquely diverse: Public, yet pristinely maintained by the Kauai Marriott Beach Resort, including tiled walkways and abundant palm trees with grass to the sand's edge. Waves on one part of the bay are just 6 inches tall, with other parts reaching 6 feet tall. No riptide or undertow.
Most all water sport equipment (including boats of all types) rented right at the beach - rare on this island.
