Full-Charge Bookkeeper – Assisted Living Agency
Location: Big Lake, Alaska
We are seeking an experienced, dependable Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing assisted living agency. Our company provides quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has been serving our community for many years.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing all aspects of our financial operations.
Responsibilities include:
• Government and Medicaid billing
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Payroll processing
• Bank reconciliations
• General ledger and monthly financial statements
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Working closely with our CPA for year-end reporting
• Payroll tax reporting and other required filings
• Monitoring cash flow and assisting with budgeting
• Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records
Qualifications:
• Experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Accountant
• Experience with Medicaid or government billing preferred
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Excellent computer and organizational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
• Experience in billing through Therap
