One extremely nice, absolutely lovely studio available for $1100/month, with heat/water/electric PAID, and shared internet that's cheap. This is, quite seriously, a *super* nice, spacious studio apartment with friendly, intelligent, quiet neighbors. The property has trees, a huge backyard with a view of the mountains in the east and sunsets in the west, and natural light galore coming in through the big, broad windows of this daylit basement studio unit. There's off-street parking available front of the lovely front yard. The neighborhood is safe and friendly with excellent aesthetics. I am the owner of the triplex in which the apartment sits; I just recently bought the house and my wife and I have been living in this studio-- it is, again, extremely nice-- so there will be no rental company or slum lord footzpah! The whole place is quiet and toasty warm, with uniform, quiet heating, electric, and water all paid! This place is located in the best part of East Anchorage: walking distance to groceries, big box stores, various banks, and some nice restaurants as well. The property is *also* a stone's throw from the beautiful Cheney Lake, and easy walking distance to Chester Creek, and to the great Russian Jack park / greenbelt!
Please no pets, no smoking-- cigarettes or marijuana-- of any kind. Please no vaping, scented candles, weird cleaning products-- you get the idea-- and we do execute background checks.
The studio is simply but spectacularly furnished, and will stay that way (this place is our baby, and we're moving our stuff but not our furniture). Our general idea is to lease the place, as is, from now until October 1st of next year, though we're somewhat flexible on the departure date. There's (free) laundry right next to the unit, and the great big backyard allows for various recreation in the winter and fruitful raspberries, sweet crab-apples, and raised-bed gardens in the summer.
