The owner (friend), did not peal the seal on the s.s. metal surface so the face door is like new from plastic protecting the metal door.
I just pealed it off while removing soot. Looks good.
Update 5/10/26 Monday afternoon, I just finished running 2 Express cycles, everything looks good, no leaks, the computer works perfectly, the touch bezel works excellent as well as the display is excellent. Fill, wash and drain all work fine, the heat cycle works excellent, I put cold water in from the garden hose and it came out like warm last wash it was scolding hot! As the computer sensor wants that last wash cycle over 190° and it was!
I am very impressed with its condition and operation. Technician tested ready to go both racks are in the washer now.
I am waiting to see if my buddy wants me to save it for him, if he does not say anything by Wednesday, I will set a price. Starting at 400 o.b.o., I am in no hurry at this point.
