This style of bench is known as either a Parson's Bench, Monk's Bench, or Deacon's Bench. It is a sturdy antique wooden bench with decorative carvings and cushion. This bench is surprisingly comfortable. Its history is unknown, but it is a remarkable piece and a lovely addition to the right home. It has been in my office for many years and I have now retired with nowhere to keep it. You must pick up, I cannot deliver. I will absolutely consider reasonable offers.
