10 acres, fee simple land, on a remote lake south of Skweetna which I own free and clear.
Engineering and Construction of cabin began in 2005.
Cabin has a footprint of 24'x32' with a 6' front deck facing West.
Built approx. 50' above the freshwater lakes surface.
Wood construction on post and pad foundation.
Siding is of spruce horizontal siding.
Many windows are able to catch the light and surrounding view.
Walls and ceiling are insulated and vapor barrier installed.
Partial paneling and tongue and groove pine exist.
Metal roofing protects the structure from the elements.
Misc. furnishing include rocker chairs, tables, futon, bed, dressers etc.
Carpet installed in the loft where the beds are located.
An outhouse is situated about 30 yards from the cabin.
10 hp generator supplies energy via buried cable and circuit box inside cabin when necessary.
Propane refrigerator and full-size range/oven occupy the kitchen.
Double sink with counters and cabinets round out the kitchen.
A microwave is used only when the genset runs.
A wood stove provides BTU heat when necessary.
There is a 10' x 10' combo shed/boat/bath house located at the beach.
It stores the outboard motor and other gear for the 14' Smokercraft boat which comes with the property.
10'x20' fixed dock sets adjacent to the boathouse.
There is a shower stall and vanity located inside the building.
The lake has great rocky bottom and clear, clean water for tying up a floatplane.
I've been slowly adding amenities over the years but with an empty nest find myself a bit lacking in motivation to spending a lot of time there since the kids are gone.
