Just sailed from Kodiak to Homer! Handles sloppy Alaskan seas comfortably. Made 8.2 knots under sail coming up Kachemak Bay!


Topsides:
Boat was completely sandblasted 5 years ago and repainted. Last fall topside was repainted to add a splash of color and continue protecting the steel hull. Masts were powder coated and all wiring redone inside. A hinge was installed on the bowsprit with the intention to raise it depending on harbor stall lengths. 3 years ago new standing rigging 5/16 SS with sta-loc fittings. New halyards rove.

Below waterline:
She was last hauled 3 years ago. Fresh ablative paint. All thru hull and sea cocks replaced with Groco Bronze fittings. New zincs. Shaft was pulled and run through a lathe. New drip less shaft seal installed.

Engine:
Perkins Prima M50 with 485 hours. All routine maintenance adhered to. New fuel pump installed 2 years ago. 2 80 gallon tanks.
Engine Room: Built in tool drawers and spares storage.

Electronics:
Garmin chart plotter 4120, sounder, Garmin HD radar

electrical:
100W solar panel. MPPT controller. 75W inverter. Victory battery monitor
3 8D batteries, new in 2022, 2 for the house bank and 1 for cranking. Wired with an ACR. Electrical is wired with switched and unswitched distribution. The switched distribution goes through a battery isolation switch then to the electrical panel which is clearly labeled.
Shore power outlet for AC needs.

Helm:
Hydraulic wheel. Previous inside steering station removed, but the hydraulic lines are still run so would be easy to reinstall if desired. New Morse control throttle.

GroundTackle:
66lb Bruce style anchor with 300’ 3/8 chain. Electric windlass.

Galley:
3 burner propane cooktop and oven. There’s a propane locker on deck behind the helm station. Drop down chest style fridge with small freezer. Double sink with manual fresh and salt water foot pumps. 30 gallon fresh water in 2 tanks.

Head:
Manual salt water head.

Aft cabin:
Double bunk, manual sink and lots of storage.


Accommodates 2 bunks in the v berth, 1 pilot berth across the galley, the settee table drops into a bunk for 1-2 and the aft cabin sleep 2.
