44' New Construction Steel Motor Sailing Vessel, J.P. Hartog (Naval Architect, San Francisco) design. This is the third boat Don Cook built to this design, with rolled steel.
Dimensions: 44' x 12.5'x 6.5'
Sailing design is suitable for commercial albacore and salmon trolling or finish as a recreational vessel. New steel hull, deck and house.* Ready for your finish construction work. A transferable space in Port Townsend WA is available where you can work on it @ $275/mo. Many extras include tools and supplies and 240 VAC power.
Rigging Details:
Big aluminum main mast with aluminum boom and set of sails.
Also available: aluminum poles, mast and boom for a commercial salmon/tuna troller.
Engine details:
Very low hours GM 471 mounted on engine bed with hydraulic Alison gear (either 4.5:1 or 6.0:1), twin fuel filters.
Alternate main engine: John Deere 6068T with 7,000 hrs., twin fuel filters.
Chicago chain PTO pump crab pump & hydraulic gear.
Genset: 30KW 3 cylinder Perkins, keel cooled.
Pumps: 2 hydraulic pumps (mounted) - 20 GPM and 30 GPM
Winches: Twin drum PL-2 Pullmaster hydraulic winch
12,000 pound PL-12 Pullmaster hydraulic winch
