16-foot riveted boat. No leaks. Heavy duty. All stringers intact and secure. 4-foot wide at the floor. 6-foot wide at the top from stern to bow platform. Bow platform is 5-foot wide from inside the boat and 3-foot wide at the terminal front end of the boat, and 3-foot long. This bow platform is ultra sturdy and great for spearing pike or using as a dive platform for swimming.

Has very deep sides (aft section is 26-inches deep, fore section is 22-inches deep). Thus more of a skiff-jon hybrid which makes it ideal for big rivers. Most jon boats have very shallow sides. Bow platform has an open compartment. Has aluminum tackle compartments on both sides which are intact but need to be bolted in (each has a hinged cover secured to the hull). Also a heavy duty aluminum brace for the stern (bolts to the sides and transom).

Comes with the trailer. Approx 19-foot. Both tires have good tread and hold air. 5-foot axle width. Registration is expired but the paper work is had. SOA does not require a boat title given its length. HIN plate was removed by its prior owner.

There are a few small holes in the gunwales but these are bolt holes well above the waterline (hinged compartments get bolted in via a few of these holes and the other holes are where the top of middle bench seat attaches, which was removed to open up the interior for dip netting, moose hunting and freighting stuff to a cabin). It used to have a 27-gallon fuel tank under the middle bench seat but as wide of a seat as this was (29-inch) it significantly reduced the floor space so I removed it. But the aluminum seat panels are still had. When fishing I simply used a large cooler for a seat but can't really remember sitting down much. This boat is ultra stable for mutiple persons moving about. On the rivers I operated the motor while standing. It does well on lakes too.

The underside has been patched/sealed in places in the past due to those darn gravel bars. Originally an ADFG boat. Has had only two prior owners. Every type motor has been used (prop, jet, mud) but all have since been sold.

Needs a new transom -- I planned to use 2 OSB boards each 3/4" thick, epoxy sealed and bolted in with 3M 5200 sealant or JB weld. But there are custom aluminum transom replacement kits on the market for only $100 which is a good deal if a decades-long life for the rebuild is desired rather than using wood which requires replacement after 5 or so years of heavy use or exposure to rain and snow/ice.

The two corner trim pieces at the stern are also needed to cover up the rough metal after transom boards are installed. These cut from the scrap aluminum that comes with it and bolted in. Plywood flooring allows seat boxes if your pals come along.

She's not pretty but is a great ride and a sturdy boat. $650 is a fair price. A large, heavy duty aluminum U-shape plate for the transom, placed after the boards are installed, for mounting a heavy outboard, is also available for $50. This plate is shown in one of the pics.

I have lost interest in rebuilding it and dare I admit, prefer fishing these days in a canoe or raft. Best to just sell it. Parked at my brother's house near KGB and Fairview Loop. Can show it any day of the week. Thanks for reading. ~ Bill.
