This is an Airmar 1 KW chirp transducer for use with a furuno chart plotter or other transducer driving device. I used it with a Furuno 1870. As the tag shows this was manufactured in 2018 and as I remember I installed it in 2019 and ran it for a year.
The HW stands for high and wide. So this is a high res Chirp Sounder with a very wide beam. It was in perfect working order when I removed it from the vessel after on season. The only reason I replaced it was I wanted something that would penetrate deeper.
It's been sitting in a box in my heated garage ever since as a spare, but it's time to pass it on to someone who will put it to use. It is in like new shape and as you can see in the photo of the pins the plug is like new. It comes with about 30 ft of cable attached. I had it installed on a 24-ft boat and had plenty of cable to spare.
Take a look online and you will see that this unit sells for between $800 and $1,000 depending on the site.
It comes with the brand new brackets necessary to mount it still in the shrink wrap as shown in the pictures.
If you're looking for one of these save yourself the shipping costs and pick it up in Anchorage as soon as you like...it marks fish well.
