Key Highlights:
• Mileage: 158,559 original miles.
• Fresh Ignition Tune-Up: Just installed brand-new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Engine fires right up and runs incredibly smooth.
• Recent Body & Paint (Looks Sharp): Features a brand-new chrome rear bumper, a brand-new painted front-left fender, and a new grille support with a freshly painted front valance under grille (1 year ago). The right-rear bed panel was also repaired and freshly painted 1 year ago.
• Body/Frame: Solid overall with only minor surface rust here and there. No major structural rot!
• Fresh Mechanicals: Brand new Sumitomo Encounter AT LT245/75R16 tires all around, brand new front brakes, rotors, calipers and hoses, both in tank fuel pump sender assy. recently installed.
• Drivetrain: The 460 V8 pulls hard with massive torque. Manual 4x4 floor shifter engages flawlessly.
Known Issues (Selling As-Is / Priced Accordingly):
• Transmission: The 2nd-gear synchro is worn. It upshifts into 2nd gear fine, but you cannot downshift into 2nd while moving over 5 mph without double-clutching. Otherwise, transmission works as it should and not been an issue.
• Oil Leak: Has a typical slow oil drip, likely from the oil pan gasket.
• Electrical: The cruise control and power door locks are currently inoperable (likely a standard switch, fuse, or actuator fix). New right door window motor.
Clean title in hand. Great truck for a Valley enthusiast who wants a classic, sharp-looking big-block OBS manual cruiser.
