Some of the skills and qualifications we are looking for:
• Previous kitchen supervisory experience.
• Have and maintain a current ServSafe Certification.
• Knowledgeable in a variety of cooking techniques and flavors.
• Experience training kitchen staff.
• High level of reliability and communication.
• An attitude that is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
In this position, a few of your responsibilities will include:
• Supervise staff and provide corrective instruction where needed.
• Actively run the kitchen, ensuring timely and quality food.
• Make and oversee staffing adjustments to fit the needs of daily business and labor targets.
• Ensure compliance with state and local health codes.
• Train kitchen staff to properly use order forms, waste logs, temp sheets, and inventory forms. Monitor for accuracy and consistency regularly.
• Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.
