Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for ensuring our guests' satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional service. You will be the go-to person for guests seeking assistance and information, playing a key role in making their stay memorable and seamless. As a vital member of our team, you will ensure our hotel remains a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
o Greet, assist, and provide guests with accurate information about the hotel amenities, local attractions, events, dining options, and more
o Answer inquiries, offer recommendations, and provide detailed information on various activities such as trips, excursions, sports events, concerts, and plays
o Maintain an up-to-date listing of the operating hours for all hotel facilities, local attractions, and events
o Assist future guests by responding promptly to requests for information
o Provide details on dining options within the hotel and in the surrounding area and assist with securing dining reservations
o Secure reservations for guest excursions, sports events, concerts, and plays, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience
o Constantly update Concierge information books to ensure the provision of accurate and timely information
o Handle all guest requests with complete and accurate information, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience
Minimum Education
o High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel or guest service environment
Skills/Abilities
o Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem-solving and reasoning
o Ability to demonstrate effective stress management and interact effectively with the public
o Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
o Ability to learn computer systems and programs quickly and efficiently
o Proficient in strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to demonstrate stress management and interact effectively with the public
o Knowledge of the local area and events is essential
General Requirements
o Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
o Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet management and guests’
needs
o Proficiency in additional languages is a plus, catering to a diverse guest population
o Maintain a clean and professional appearance
o Ability to lift and carry 20lbs to 35lbs on a regular basis
