South Restaurant + Coffeehouse is searching for a Food Runner with AM and PM availability (weekends a must).
The food runner’s primary responsibility is to ensure guest delight by providing an exceptional experience that makes our guests want to return again and again. Their energy is “up and out”. Basic duties are to deliver guest orders to the table, ensure all plates are clean and garnished appropriately, assist guests with any extra food items they may need. Another essential function is to advocate for the guest and give your best service 100% of the time.

Qualified candidates will:
Take ownership of their position, including accountability for their guests’ experience
Engage and makes every guest feel welcome and comfortable
Handle guests’ dietary/allergy issues with respect and patience
Is able to think on the fly and address guest inquiries and requests graciously, fluently and without hesitation
Advocate for the guest: addresses guest feedback effectively, empathetically and with a smile; is able to “make it right”
