La Baleine Café — the little blue café on the Homer Spit — is hiring a line cook immediately to join our team for the 2026 summer season. We will train you if you love to cook!
This is a fast-paced and fun position. We pour good coffee, plate a beautiful breakfast, and look out at Kachemak Bay all day. The pace is steady, the vibes are genuinely positive, and our clientele makes it worth showing up for. Get a chance to spend time at our Tutka Bay Lodge across the BAY!!
$20-25/hour plus tips DOE

Who we're looking for:
Friendly, reliable, and quick on your feet
Comfortable in a busy brunch rush
A team player who wants to work hard and actually enjoys the season (no drama zone)
Egg cookery and experience on a busy line are a plus. Attitude matters more than résumé. We will train.
