KERN DM501 Vintage Surveying EDM - Swiss Manufactured Old surveying EDM (Electronic Distance Measurer) manufactured by Kern & Co. AG, Aarau of Switzerland, post 1959 S.N. 251211 Size: Approx. (H)190 x (W)160 x (D)70 mm Condition: General signs of wear. Operation: Note: Although this EDM comes with an original battery, neither have been tested . We cannot offer a guarantee with respect to their operation. To avoid disappointment it is best to assume that both the EDM and battery are inoperable and that it is suited therefore, for spares or as a collectors piece. Also note that the battery does not connect directly to the EDM but rather to the theodolite on which the EDM is usually mounted.
