I just came back from a consignment place in Anchorage called Second Run Consignment, and honestly, I decided I’d rather sell my shoes myself instead.
They wanted to price some of my shoes at $50, $60, $70, and even $80. Yes, they are brand-name shoes and worth a lot, but I personally would rather sell them cheaper so people can actually enjoy them and get a good deal.
The other issue is that I’m leaving for rural Alaska for about a year, and I won’t be able to come back within their 60-day pickup period if items don’t sell. After that, they only give you a few days to pick up your stuff, and that just won’t work for me. They also wanted to mail checks instead of direct deposit, so I decided to just bring everything back home and sell them myself.
So if you’re seeing this, know that you’re getting a really good deal. Some of these shoes are brand new, and some are lightly used — and when I say lightly used, I mean maybe worn once or twice. I just have way too many shoes.
Most of my shoes are size 8, and I only have one pair that is size 8½. If you ask about a specific pair, I’ll let you know.
Prices will mostly be between $20, $25, and $30 or less depending on the shoe. These are expensive shoes, so feel free to do your own research on the brands and styles before buying.
If you see a pair you like, message me and let me know what you’re willing to pay, and we’ll see if we can agree on something fair for both of us.
Because the prices are low, the shoes will probably go fast, so don’t wait too long if you really want a pair.
