Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Lawn and Summer Maintenance Specialist. We're looking for a responsible team player and hard working individuals that love working in the great outdoors. We have an in-town crew and a base crew. We will be starting Spring Clean-Up and move into the lawn maintenance part of the season by June. After Spring Clean-Up we offer a 4/10 work schedule if that is your preference. A drivers license is preferred!
Responsibilities
Mow lawns using power equipment such as mowers and trimmers to achieve a clean, professional appearance.
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features.
Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and assessing health to ensure safety and vitality.
Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.
Skills
Drivers License Preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment and power tools.
Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture principles.
Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment.
Skilled in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes effectively.
Understanding of snow plowing techniques and safety procedures during winter operations.
Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
