Gage Tree Service is hiring hardworking, reliable team members to join our professional tree crew. We are currently looking for Ground Crew Laborers and Experienced Climbing Arborists.

Position Overview
Both positions work closely together as part of our tree crew performing tree removals, pruning, and property cleanup throughout the Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley area.
Ground Crew Laborer
Ground crew members assist the climbers and help keep job sites running safely and efficiently.
Typical responsibilities include:
Dragging and processing brush
Operating chainsaws and chippers
Assisting with tree removals and pruning operations
Job site setup and cleanup
Supporting climbers and equipment operators
General labor related to tree work
No experience required. We provide paid training for motivated individuals.
Climbing Arborist
Climbing arborists perform the technical tree work including climbing, pruning, and removals while directing the ground crew.
Responsibilities include:
Climbing trees using ropes and harness systems
Performing technical tree pruning and removals
Safely rigging and lowering tree sections
Communicating with the ground crew during operations
Operating chainsaws and professional tree equipment
Ensuring job site safety and efficiency
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years climbing experience preferred
ISA Tree Climber or Certified Arborist (or willingness to obtain)
Strong understanding of safe tree work practices
