Alaska Horse Ranch is Alaska’s ideal equestrian playground. Nestled in the heart of the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, we offer a beautiful and expansive setting for our guests and horses. Our Equestrian Center is meticulously designed, expertly maintained, and passionately operated. Alaska Horse Ranch offers a range of specialized equine services.
Alaska Horse Ranch is an all-around equestrian facility, offering lessons in both English and Western disciplines, trail rides in Alaskan wilderness, horse training and boarding. We are on 100 acres and have many projects going at one time.

Duties to include:

• Using a tractor to feed and do other things, use bobcat to clean around the barns and corrals and drill holes for fencing,

• Moving and stocking feed, watering and feeding of horses.

• Fencing and fence repair, all forms of ranch work maintenance and repairs.

• Must have hand tool experience, must know how to run equipment.

• We are looking for somebody that has done this kind of work before.

Job requirements:
• This is a permanent year-round position at mile 53 of the Parks Highway
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a federal background check
• Must arrive to work on time
• No excessive facial piercings or inappropriate visible tattoos, or piercings must be removed for work.
• A can-do attitude
• Animal oriented mindset
• Not afraid of getting dirty while having fun
• Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs.
• Must be able to dress appropriately for ALL weather types
• Experience with horses and livestock and equipment needed
