Coming soon... in the spring. (March? April?)

My 1999 Drifter 1500 will be available for a new owner, rider, collector.

If, like me, you have always loved the style of the 1948 Indian Chief you can appreciate the 1999-2006 Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter that looks very similar to the old Indian. The Drifter has all the style without the cost of the original or the new Indian's.

The 1500 Drifter uses the same 1500cc V-Twin motor that the other Vulcan models use.
Disk brakes front and rear.
Fuel Injection
5 speed gearbox
Dual seat

Many extras added to make this bike special, some of them are:
Windshield
Windshield top flow director
Front and rear engine (tip-over) bars
Auxiliary driving lights
Lighted Indian Head on the front fender
Hand /foot shift (Shift using either)
YSS shocks
Leather saddle bags (panniers)

Very good condition for riding, not so perfect that you don't want to risk getting a scratch.

This was Bobby's favorite bike and he rode thousands of miles with me and has had as many pictures taken of him.
Sadly, he passed away 9/11/22 and riding without him last summer just wasn't the same so I am making the bike available.
This is a great Alaskan Adventure bike because it makes those hours and hours of highway riding enjoyable and comfortable. We rode to Homer, Seward, Hope, Denali, Paxton, Tok, and other destinations for lunch many times and camped with the bike several times. I rode the bike up from California as a fly & ride planning to sell the bike the next summer. I've been riding it for 10 years now. It is a marvelous machine.

I'm posting it now to find the person who always wanted one.

More info next month and better pictures when I can take it outside.
(pictures posted here are over several years and may not show current setup of panniers or exhaust)
(current condition is the chrome exhaust and leather bags)

The price will be reasonable, not cheap, not expensive.

Probably the only Drifter 1500 in Alaska (I've never seen another anyway)
