5 x 14 Slingerland Chrome over steel snare drum. 1970 only transition badge. 4 digit number. Pretty darn rare!
It has the 1960s artwork and is etched and painted like the 60s badges. Of course that’s on aluminum. Way cheaper to litho print these things than etch them, I figure that’s why they stopped making them.
Educated guess is they weren’t around for that long, the very first of the aluminum 70s badges.
