Job Overview:
Alaska's Best Payroll Solution is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrative Worker to join our payroll team at our Anchorage office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling various administrative tasks to ensure seamless payroll operations. This is an ONSITE position only - remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scan and organize documents for digital record-keeping.
• Accurately input payroll data into systems, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Prepare and package payrolls for distribution.
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries professionally.
• Assist with general office tasks, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the payroll team.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or office experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right individual.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry systems.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
• Experience in payroll or office administration is preferred but not required.
