I also removed the head and resurfaced the valves, full head recondition. If you know Volvo engines, that upper overhead cam cap is a project. Turned out nicely, I have had it running after the head but it needs to be put back together the rest of the way and completed, one of the injectors has a leaking seal, the other 5 ok. It's a 5 cylinder. I did a real nice job also on the transaxle rebuild, the reverse forward 1 bands were burned and seized, I replaced them and lapped the plates to tolerance. Turned out real nice.
