We are currently searching for a Security Guard to help patrol some of our properties in Anchorage.
The Security Officer duties will be as followed:
*Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
*Work amongst and in cooperation with trained K9 dogs and their handlers
*Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and removing trespassers. Ability to physically detain as needed in the interest of safety
*Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
*Use verbal de-escalation to diffuse tense situations
Qualifications:
*Ability to pass background check and drug screening
*Ability to carry a firearm
*Must be able to lift up to 100lbs
Must be comfortable working alone
*Must have valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation
Payrate is $28+ an hour DOE, those with military experience are encouraged to apply.
