Our current roommate is moving back to Colorado, so we're, once again, looking for the right person to PARTIALLY barter furnished, living space (bedroom, bathroom, family room, mini kitchen, laundry, mini and medium fridges), in our home, for pet care and snow removal (we have plow truck and snow blowers) when we are gone.(We are not gone all year.) This is NOT a free rental..we offer part-time bartering when we are gone. This could be a seasonal person who is here mostly in the winters or year-round. Pet care requires about 15 minutes each morning and about 1 hour, 15 minutes each night, with an extra 1 1/2 hours once a week. (Bird experience is a plus, but not required.) We live on a mountainside up off Hiland in Eagle River with roads plowed by 6am (cuz it's mostly a bus route) with 360 degree mountain views. You pretty much need a 4-wheel drive to get up the driveway a lot of the winter. No drugs, alcohol, smoking (anything), or cats in our home, but visitors and dogs on approval. WE ALSO REQUIRE A BACKGROUND CHECK, IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN, i.e. a traffic violation, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. (If you don't hear back from us, it's either because we've seen things in court records showing you are not a match for us or something in your response doesn't match what we're looking for in our situation.) We are about 15 minutes from JBER and Muldoon...depending on road conditions. Best suited for 1, possibly two people and the rent varies depending on the barter for pet care, etc...It's furnished and includes heat, electric, basic internet, garbage (with minor exception.)
