Older model F-1 transceiver. Works fine, but is less "user friendly" than the new models out now. Comes with the instruction manual so you can learn how to use it fast and appropriately. This is an alternative to the $300 - $400 ones on the market today, and a great way to get out in the backcountry safely and affordably. Obviously a 'starter' unit that you can learn the basics of avy burial retrieval while keeping you safe in transmit mode, which is still receivable by the new beacons of today. I can bring to the Valley or Anch if needed.
