Just finished and ready for epoxy clear coat of thread wraps on black guides - completely custom 9ft 4pc 8wt fly rod built on an Olympic Green Rainshadow RX6 blank. This blank is light in hand, provides smooth casting with efficient casting presentations. It is also dynamite when flipping/flossing for reds!
The rod is built with a marine grade CNC machined aluminum black reel seat with woven metallic silver Texalium insert; SS304 stainless steel stripper & snake guides, and tip.
The grip and fighting butt are completely handcrafted by me, using multiple colors of cork & rubberized cork for ends & checkerboard patterns.
Before applying the epoxy clear coat, I can put your name or slogan on the rod.
This is the perfect rod for the Klutina, Kenai, Russian, Kasilof, or any of the valley rivers!
