In May, I have two housing opportunities for the right individuals or couples. Rental price is variable for the different spaces.
1. Day light basement room , private entrance and bath, kitchenette type set up (available year round - ideally looking for a long term renter for this space) Meant for solo occupant. (Pics are of this room) Rent depends on length of occupancy $800/month for 1 year commitment and prorated after that.
2. Rent the upstairs part of my house (you do not share the upper house with the daylight basement renter). Could be long or short term(summer) for the right person. Rent depends on the arrangement.
I am looking for someone(s) who love to garden or wants to learn. I have grown my own food for 35 years but now want to back off and I will in and out (mostly out) in the wilderness working this summer. I will help as well as bear expenses of garden , and share the food. Gardens take care and attention all summer - whether it be eating or weeding or picking and processing. You can freeze food and have winter stores at end of season. I will be gone till mid September. Anyway, the price is negotiable and ideally the daylight basement renter and upstairs renter/roomate (I will consider myself as part of household (ie not removing all my stuff from my bedroom). Anyway, putting this out there to find a win win situation for all of us. It's worked well in the past, and every time it is a bit different.... no pets in house (I am allergic) and no smokers.
