A growing electrical contractor based in Anchorage, Alaska. Currently operating with a staff of roughly 40 individuals; apprentices, journeymen, and support staff. We have been growing and find ourselves in need of additional journeymen in order to facilitate further expansion.
Our contract and service teams service oilfield, residential, commercial, and industrial clients all across Alaska. Currently, we face a need for certified Electrical Journeymen.
Expectations:
• Teaching apprentices how to tackle tasks, tie the field to what is studied, problem solve, and progress into effective journeymen.
• Prioritizing safety in all aspects of the job; not simply at the job site or office.
• Troubleshooting operational errors and how to resolve the situation.
• Installing or repairing machines, equipment, wiring, or programs.
• Maintaining equipment and being able to ascertain the efficacy of what is currently in place.
• Cooperative with a variety of teams, customers, and working situations.
• Ensuring a timely schedule, and communicating disruptions or misaligned timelines.
Requirements:
• Current Journeyman’s License (COF).
• Current Driver’s License.
• Willing to travel in and around Alaska.
