Job Overview:
A&G Painting is seeking experienced and detail-oriented painters to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, maintains a strong work ethic, and has experience in residential and/or commercial painting projects. You’ll play a key role in delivering clean, professional finishes that meet our standards and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, priming)
* Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
* Ensure clean lines, smooth finishes, and consistent coverage
* Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and masking
* Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
* Complete projects on time and according to specifications
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of professional painting experience preferred, we will entertain new candidates as well
* Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and techniques
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
* Reliable transportation and punctuality
* Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in various conditions
* Valid driver’s license (preferred)
