Mobile Forklift Technician needed to repair/replace virtually any component on lift trucks. Troubleshoot and diagnose lift truck to determine fault/failure or extent of malfunction/damage. Remove faulty components using assortment of hand tools, pneumatic tools, lift truck jacks and hoists. Disassemble units and inspect parts/components for wear. Tear down, repair and rebuild faulty components/assemblies. Repair and service electrical systems. Read display for fault codes and downloads software updates. Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as lubrication and tune-ups. Test drive forklifts to test components and systems. Performs pre-delivery inspections and assembly of new forklifts as required. 24 months minimum experience in a related mechanical industry is required. Must be able to lift 80lbs., bend, squat and climb ladders. Must supply own general hand/power tools. Must have clean Valid AK Driver License. Must be able to pass Background Check, DOT Physical and Drug Tests. Company Vehicle, Uniforms, Technical training and Certification will be provided.
